Here is the rounding out of the mock draft with picks 22-32.
22. Philadelphia Eagles
C.J. Mosley – ILB – Alabama
Mosley is a good fit here for the Eagles. They need that player that is going to make an immediate impact. This is a good pick for the Eagles.
23. Kansas City Chiefs
Marquise Lee – WR – Southern California
The Chiefs need a wide reciever, but the good news is that Buffalo got the better Marquise last year. This guy will stretch the field for Smith and should add another dimension to their offense.
24. Cincinnati Bengals
Shayne Skov – ILB – Standford
I had the Bills taking Skov in the 3rd round in our Bills mock draft. I don’t think this guy will fall to the third round. Maybe the second at most. The Bengals do need a LB. He will be a strong middle LB right out of college.
25. San Diego Chargers
Stephen Tuitt – DE – Notre Dame
Is defense the way to go here? I don’t think so. Cyril Richardson is still on the board and the Chargers could use a OL before they go DL.
26. Cleveland Browns (from Indianapolis)
Jordan Matthews – WR – Vanderbilt
With a QB taken earlier in the round, WR is the next viable option, and with Richardson being traded to the Colts, they can get a good RB in the second round.
27. New Orleans Saints
Jason Verrett – CB – TCU
The Saints could go in a couple of different directions and it would most likely come down to best available at this point. CB seems to be a fit.
28. Carolina Panthers
David Yankey – G – Stanford
Continuing with the deep class of OLs, Yankey is a good fit for the Panthers. Cam Newton needs to protection and the OL is in need of an upgrade.
29. New England Patriots
Ra’Shede Hageman – DT – Minnesota
Brady began to show his age this year. Good news for Bills fans. Wilfork is also getting old. The Pats go defensive and look to build their OL in the next round.
30. San Francisco 49ers
Loucheiz Purifoy – CB – Florida
With talented QBs in the NFC, the 49ers, could use defense. Justin Smith is getting old, but you can’t argue a good shut down corner.
31. Denver Broncos
Bradley Roby – CB – Ohio State
The Broncos, as other teams, could go in a couple of directions and will most likely look to take the best available. I see the Broncos going offensive line to protect Manning for another year or two.
32. Seattle Seahawks
Cyril Richardson – G – Baylor
Last but certainly not least and with the depth of the OL in this years draft, it is fitting to see a lineman rounding out the 1st round. The Seahawks could look to go TE and with Sefarian-Jenkins and Niklas still available, I think they go this route rather than OL to help out Wilson.
