A day after the Bills fumbled away their chance at a win fans didn’t wait or hold anything back as they have sounded off. In some ways it’s hard to argue but listening to a lot of the negativity I can’t believe people say the things they do. I understand their upset but things are going to happen in games and could happen to anyone.

Stevie Johnson being the major focus of negativity sure has put himself in some bad situations at times nonetheless has played very well for this team. Looking at his last three seasons he has averaged 75 receptions and also eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark consecutively.  A great route runner and always getting open has made it easy at times for his quarterback to get the ball out.  The problem is going back to the bad situations Johnson has had: some penalties that have hurt his team, costly drops and now a fumble that people will soon not forget. It just seems funny to me that people will automatically look at the bad before recognizing the good. I’m not defending him fully because he has put a lot on himself but this guy isn’t totally bad is he? Hearing the things I have today some would question. He should be cut, he’s bad because he goes on shows like Jim Rome and is in a commercial and also as ridiculous as because he eats taco’s before games and has tattoos. Are you serious and do you think before you speak is something I would love to ask these people. I get their discouraged but I just don’t understand their thinking. This guy does a lot of good and I think he is a very good asset for this team. Do I think he is a number one receiver no but could be a very good slot guy. What this team needs is a clear cut number one that could take control of games. Not many are available but this is something this staff should always be looking for.

This will be something to definitely keep an eye on as we go into the offseason. Do I think Stevie would be let go probably not but he does have a pretty big roster bonus coming to him. Would the Bills ask him to re do the deal? If you ask me the Bills have three receivers to move on with next year being: Stevie, Robert Woods and Goodwin leaving TJ Graham on the outside looking in. This will open a spot for a game changer but I just hope the Bills can find him.
