The Buffalo Bills Future Looks Good

As more speculation arises about the Patriots not being a lock to win the division this year I’ve heard nothing positive for the Bills. I mean sure there are the diehards Bills fans that say this year will be our year but after that the comments are abysmal. Is Buffalo just not liked or are we that team that everyone associates with losing? With either of those a possibility I think this team has finally started to turn the ship.

It started at the top when Ralph gave Russ Brandon control of the team. Brandon formerly had roles of executive, director of non-football operations and also CEO. Since being in control Brandon has been very busy constructing a new look to this organization. A new GM by the new of Doug Whaley and head coach by the name of Doug Marrone were appointed. Marrone has brought in his own staff and has begun to build a new atmosphere around this team. A hard working group of guys that will play as a team to put together solid football games is what he’ll be looking for. As that progresses Whaley will be the guy to bring in the talent and players he sees fit. I think these two guys will be good in the way of how they evaluate players on this team. Whaley seems like a guy who can judge talent very well and has had plenty of experience (scouting) with the Steelers and the Bills. Marrone took an average Syracuse team and had them competing at a pretty good level. These two guys I think could be good for this organization for years to come.

That said yes the Bills have been bad but I think a lot of teams have gone through times they want to forget about. It’s what the team does that gives hope to its fan base and proves to them that their doing everything possible to fix it. Let’s not forget as well that this regime has already taken a shot at a future franchise QB in EJ Manuel. This team has been searching for a quality QB for years. Everyone now will be hoping EJ is that guy. So for the people that say it’s the same old Bills may be right but at least we are now going about it the right way and time will tell.
