More from Buffalo Bills News

A statement in March, from ESPN Analyst, Steven A Smith suggests that their could be racist moves happening in Philadelphia, with coach Chip Kelly, has been followed by another comment from former running back and current Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.

"“Chip Kelly makes decisions over the last couple of years that, dare I say, leave a few brothers feeling uncomfortable,” Smith said. “I think that’s fair to say. I mean, we’re sitting here looking at some of the decisions that Chip Kelly makes and I’m like what is up? What’s up with that? I mean, it’s like you’ve got to be his kind of guy, you know? And I’m like, well, Riley Cooper’s your kind of guy?”– PFT.com"

LeSean McCoy has basically come out and stated that exact same things. quoted in saying that Chip Kelly does not like the good players and has gotten rid of all the black players.

"“The relationship was never really great,” McCoy said. “I feel like I always respected him as a coach. I think that’s the way he runs his team. He wants the full control. You see how fast he got rid of all the good players. Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That’s the truth. There’s a reason. . . .– PFT.com"

Could there be something to it, absolutely.  As of right now, the Philadelphia Eagles and Chip Kelly have not responded to the additional berating that has come from LeSean McCoy, but it is expected that there will be a statement of some sorts coming out of Philadelphia at some point to address this accusation.

"“It’s hard to explain with him. But there’s a reason he got rid of all the black players — the good ones — like that.”– PFT.com"

There could be an argument made for Eagles guard, Even Mathis, who has also caught flak from coach Chip Kelly in a statement where Kelly made it known that no one has offered to trade for Mathis and that Kelly is making moves to build a team that he wants to coach, no matter the color of their skin.
