The Buffalo Bills have just finished the first half of the season.  They started out strong with two wins, but then had two losses.  2-2 to start the season. Not too bad.  After that the Bills went 3-1, to finish the first half of the season at 5-3.  Going into their bye week in week 9, sitting at 5-3 and 2nd in the AFC East, I think they are sitting in a good place.

Their next 4 games are games that the Bills should win without an issue.  They have the Chiefs, Dolphins, Jets and the Browns, in that order, still they have already beating two of those teams this year handily I might add, so going 4-0 in this next 4 game stretch is not to far fetched.  It will certainly set them up very well for a playoff birth as well.  After that that Bills will have the toughest part of their schedule where the face the Broncos, Packers, Raiders and Patriots to finish the year.

Those last four, the Bills might go 1-3, which would leave them with a 10-6 record if they beat our the first 4.

NFL.com has the Bills sitting at 16th this week, which is no change from last week.  Kyle Orton can be inconsistent, but if he can dial in what we saw against the Jets, I think that the Bills have a good shot at going 11-5 or even 12-6 this year.  I think the Bills should be a little higher than 16th right now.  I think that the Bills are better than the Ravens, Steelers and Bengals right now and should be at least in front of them, putting them in the area of 13th right now.  The Lions are 6-2 and are sitting at 9th, but the Bills did beat them, so how is to say where any body is at this point.
