More from Buffalo Bills News

EJ Manuel only played in 10 games last year.  With a promising start and an up-tempo offense, the potential was sky high for the team.  Manuel then suffered a knee injury that changed the face of this offense for the rest of the year and it slowing became another losing season.  Manuel feels he is stronger than ever and ready to bring back that up-tempo offense that made waves last year in the beginning.  [Pro Football Talk]

Scott Chandler set TE record for the Buffalo Bills franchise last year, but yet is still considered a below average TE in the league.  Take Chandler back 10 to 15 years and he would be your prototypical TE, blocking for the most part and making catches down the center of the field and providing a big target in red zone situations.  In Fantasy Football, Chandler is a secondary and possibly at times a third TE and seen mostly on the FA list, but he is usually good for 4.5 to 6 points a game on a consistent basis.  [Rant Sports]

Kiko Alonso was lost for the season and it could have been a lot worse if the Bills didn’t bring in Brandon Spikes or Keith Rivers.  The scrambling would surly be on at this point.  Although they are not scrambling to the degree that they would have, there still is a need to plug that hole at linebacker.  [Buffalo News]

Sammy Watkins was the top offensive player in this years draft and the Bills were able to nab him at the 4th spot.  Watkins has been compared to both A.J. Green and Julio Jones.  Although more reflective of Jones, Watkins is able to make plays in a variety of situations such as play the screen as well as go deep.  Watkins is set up to be an explosive player this year, will the Bills offense rally around him and produce the way they should? With the first NFL game of the year, just under 3 weeks away, and the beginning of training camps and with the beginning of camps also comes the beginning of consistent injuries.  Although there have been injuries already this season for some teams, Bills included, free agents will begin to be looked at for best possible fit based on talent and experience and needs of the team.  Here are some of the top free agents just waiting for a chance to play.  [Bleacher Report]
