More from Buffalo Bills News

Happy Tuesday Everyone and Great to be in July! We are 20 days away from the start of Training Camp! Here are your daily links for the Buffalo Bills.

We start with a kind of ‘where are they now’ for a not o long ago former Buffalo Bill.  Kevin Kolb is seen in the news again but not for good reasons.  Kolb was arrested for boating under the influence.  Unfortunately, his last team was the Bills as they released him this past March, but he never really played for us, but we held on to him for a year.  His most time was spent with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2007 to 2010. Out of Toronto comes more news about the sale of the Bills.  Edward Rogers III, owner of the Rogers Center, has stated that he will not make a bid to buy the Bills as part of a second Toronto Group making a bid.  This is good news, although this is the first time I am hearing Rogers in the mix for the Bills sale.  The second part of the message came from the current Toronto bidders for the Bills sale, stating that they will not relocate the Bills and they will keep them in Western New York.  What and who can you believe? How many bars is too many bars? That question the NFL has answered and will ban too many bars on a helmet this coming season. One Buffalo Bills player will be effective; Brandon Spikes.  The Bane-style helmet has been deemed dangerous and could cause neck fatigue because of the added weight which could then cause the player to lead with their head; as stated by the NFL.  [Fox Sports]

Today is not only the first day of July but it is also the day that Marcell Dareus is due in court for his drag racing charges that he accrued back in May in Hamburg, New York.  Dareus’ attorney has stated that plea discussions have already begun in the case.  [Daily Journal]
