Last year was somewhat of a disappointing season for Bills players in the fantasy football world.  CJ Spiller was projected as a top ten running back, I know because I took him at 9 in one of my leagues, and he turned out to not be that top ten back finishing 84th overall.

Fred Jackson finished with more points than Spiller did last year and in turn finished 34th.

This year, their roles have reversed again and Spiller is projected higher than Jackson is; 38th and 94th respectively.  Yes, the highest ranking player on the Bills does not come until the 38th spot.

I think that if you look at points, Spiller will be in the 150 range, 30 more than last year and Jackson will be about the same, 180 points.

As for our wide receivers, Sammy Watkins leads the group with a 112 projected ranking and Robert Woods following at 150th.  Mike Williams rounds out the wide receivers that are above 200 sitting at 167th overall right now. Looking at points, its tough to say what Watkins will do but for Woods and Williams, I believe that they will be in in the 80 to 120 point range at the end of the season.

Scott Chandler is the next closest being about 50 spots lower than Williams, sitting at 214th.  After Chandler, the next notable player is E.J. Manuel.  Manuel finished last year at 180th overall, but is projected in the 1731st spot.  Yes, that’s right, Manuel is the next best available player after Chandler sitting a 1731.  After Manuel, Tony Moeaki, Marquise Goodwin, Chris Gragg and Mike Caussin come in and the numbers really don’t matter at this point they are over the 1800 rank.

Chandler will finish the year with similar point marks being right around 80 again.  Manuel will have a little better year and finish with 150 points, up from 118.

Is this accurate?  For Manuel, I think it is a little out of realistic.  He finished 180th last year, I think that even if he has a similar year this year, he would be under the 200 rank mark.  1700 though, a little out there.  As for everyone else, I think that they are pretty close, if you go based on performance, instead of actual potential.

Jamaal Charles is the number 1 player overall this year. Do you agree?
