The Buffalo Bills are primed and ready to make a statement in the AFC East.

The question is which Bill will be willing to step up to the plate?

These players must take their game to the next level if Buffalo wants to be a serious contender in the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills are a disrespected organization, well deserving of a playoff year simply because of time. Now is the time to make the necessary adjustments to make the playoffs. It’s time for the Buffalo Bills to make a change in performance and finish strong.

The following slideshow will focus on 5 players who will need to bring their “A” game this season. The players chosen were of my preference of choice;  there are many other players who could have made the list as well.

Let it begin!

I would add in Mike Williams… guy has to prove he’s not just a knucklehead and can be a reliable #2 receiver opposite Watkins.

Agreed.Mike Williams does have a lot to prove.

The only reasons he didn’t make the list?

-Spiller is in his contract year
-Watkins was a Round 1 pick in the draft, brings a lot of pressure
-Gilmore wasn’t able to perform last season and his absence definitely hurt the Bills defense. Seeing how he bounces back from that, I figure he has to prove that he can continue to grow as a #1 cornerback for Buffalo.
    -EJ Manuel for obvious reasons.
-Brandon Spikes could have been switched out with Mike Williams. However, I thought his past in NE and the fact that many doubt his ability to be a 3 down linebacker combined with our poor run defense made his need to make an impact greater than MW.
