Bills Fans: What Would You Do?

This year sure has been a roller coaster ride for Bills fans but many should have the right mind set moving forward. The right changes have been made in my opinion within the organization and also not to mention the Bills finally addressed the quarterback position. Now moving forward hitting on our drafts will be vital.

Any team always could use upgrades and of course the Bills are no different. Two positions I think the Bills could improve in are at the wide receiver and linebacker position.

The receiver position had been a position that has been overhauled in the past few years nonetheless now we are in need of a true number one. A dominate player that could take over games and just drive opposing defenses crazy all day.

A player that they could look at would be Mike Evans of Texas A&M. Evans would definitely bring everything needed in a big play receiver. At 6’5 225lbs he has the size and the ability to just go up and get it. Giving Manuel a threat were you can just tell him throw it out there and let Evans do the rest could be something Manuel would like to get used to if it ever came to be true.

Looking at the Bills I could also see them taking a top linebacker when the draft rolls around. If this year is a year where they want to take a linebacker in the first round they shouldn’t waste any time in scooping up Khalil Mack. Out of the University of Buffalo he is said to be a top ten pick in 2014. Mack has had a great college career and in his senior year he sure didn’t disappoint. Khalil was just awarded the Jack Lambert trophy which is given to the nation’s top linebacker, Mac defensive player of the year along with breaking and tying some NCAA records. As he leaves college he will have the record for the most forced fumbles at 14 and tied the record for most tackles for a loss at 75(may get chance to break it if UB is awarded a bowl game).

There you have the two guys that if both available I think I’d have a hard time on who to select. Looking at everything I think I would lean more towards Mack. Getting this defense better than it already is compared to last season would be great. With them keeping the opposing offense off the field more and ours on it should amount to more points and hopefully resulting in more wins.
