So far to date there have been a number of Mock Drafts that have occurred.  Now that Free Agency is in full swing and has been for almost a month now, we have a better idea of what teams have and what teams are still in need of.

As for the Buffalo Bills, little has changed on the needs front.  They did bring in Manny Lawson, but let go Barnett.  George Wilson and Levitre are gone and only Da’Norris Searcy is the replacement at Safety.  Byrd and Tarvaris Jackson were re-signed. QB Kevin Kolb was brought in as was DT Alan Branch.

As for needs, the Bills are still in need for a QB, WR, and a LB.  You can add G to that list as well.  In the past two weeks there have been a number of Mock Drafts that have the Bills going every which way they could possibly go.  Good thing, these guys are not all in the front office making the choices.

Mel Kiper has the Bills taking Jonathan Cooper at the 8th spot and then Ryan Nassib at the 41st spot.  The Bills do need a G and Cooper would fit the Bill, and Nassib would be a good fit with the coaching staff, and with the Bills solidfying the 2nd and 3rd QB spots with Jackson and Kolb it might just work.

Todd McShay has the Bills taking DE Barkevious Mingo.  Really a DE? The Bills already have DE that they have signed and drafted the past two years.  Along with Branch, who can play everywhere along the D-Line, the only Defensive player the Bills need in the first three rounds would be a LB.

Gil Brandt, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Don Banks all have the Bills taking Geno Smith with the 8th pick.

Russ Lande has the Bills taking Ryan Nassib with the 8th pick, which I personally thinking is taking Nassib way too early.

Finally, Joe Buscaglia has the Bills trading back with their first pick to the 18th Pick (Dallas) and taking Matt Barkley.  Then trading up  to the 26th Pick (GB) with one of their extra picks they take WR Deande Hopkins, Clemson.  The Bills acquire the 47th pick from the Cowboys from the first pick and take OT Kyle Long.

Buscaglis’s draft is definitely the most interesting from the rest of them, but I can’t see the Bills taking Barkley, his arm strength is just not there.
