Let’s face it this past off season was arguably was one the best in quite some time. With the signings of Mario Williams and Mark Anderson the Bills were able to snatch up 2 of the top free agents in the league. Also the draft many thought was a good one for this team. Addressing certain needs at the: corner back, tackle and wide receiver positions. I heard from many people that this team could reach 10 wins or even 11.

With that being said the season started. The first game has pretty much set the tone for the season thus far. Not knowing assignments, getting beat in almost all phases of the game and all around coaching. I just don’t get what happened to this team? I think this roster is better than last year’s right?

The fans of late have been getting really fed up with this team. I mean with no winning seasons in some time and also the longest playoff drought it’s going to happen. The fans are sick of hearing the same statements and comments over and over: “this team has good players and deserve one more season to prove themselves”, “it was his turn”, “he did it last year so I know he’s capable” and lastly “I have to do better”. There’s only so much of that us fans can endure. They have been very understanding and also are coming back year after year and this is how the organization responds. Poor management within has just trickled down to no end.

There are a few things I would like to see done with this team. First and foremost would be a coaching change. I don’t know about anyone else but it seems like the team has quit on Chan a little bit. Another thing I would like to see is a quarterback change. I know everybody keeps saying this but it is truly necessary. Fitzpatrick has just not shown anything to me. He is a lifetime backup and will be nothing more. He seems like a good guy but just isn’t cutting it. Other things I would like to see happen are: trading or releasing Fred Jackson, signing another receiver and also resigning Bryd/McKelvin.

All of these things that have this organization turned upside down have to be fixed. Meanwhile the best fans in the league are along for the ride. Not knowing what’s going to happen next isn’t the greatest feeling but let’s hope from now on it’s for the better. Being a Bills fan for life I won’t be going anywhere but how about you?
