Left Tackle Job “Wide Open” When the clock struck 8:00 pm on April 22, 2010, Buffalo Bills fans were anxious to see which quarterback or left tackle the team would select to fill one of the two most glaring positional needs on the team, due to the loss of former left tackle, Jason Peters in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. Instead, General Manager, Buddy Nix decided to wait until the third day of the draft to select a player of either position, selecting Virginia Tech tackle, Ed Wang, in the fifth round, and the highly overlooked Iowa prospect, Kyle [...]
Starting QB Job Up For Grabs Long gone are the days of the explosive K-Gun offense that lead the , as Bills fans around the world haven’t been able to experience a Bills quarterback pass for over 300 yards since November 26, 2006. Chan Gailey prefers an offensive attack, which has brought excitement to not only the fans, but the players as well. However, the Bills lackluster quarterback depth chart consisting of the inconsistent Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Brohm, and the rookie Levi Brown, a 7th round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. BLD Adds a Blogger: Robert Quinn
I’d like to take a moment to introduce a brand new contributor to BuffaLowDown – Robert Quinn. Robert was born in Buffalo, NY where – like the rest of us – he was nursed on a healthy dose of loathing for the Dolphins and Jets. He’s currently, however, chosen to trade the blustery winters of Buffalo for the sandy beaches of Florida. God only knows why. Please welcome him to the site and look for his contributions very soon. He’s looking forward to your comments!

As for the football you care about, ESPN.com did an interesting article recently on Bills’ 7th year WR Lee Evans. Author Tim Graham basically argues that when Lee Evans entered the NFL six years ago from the University of Wisconsin, he did so with the league at his fingertips. As the 13th overall pick in the 2004 draft, Evans - a gifted [...]
Marshawn Lynch Returns to Camp
After missing the first 12 of the Buffalo Bills’ preseason voluntary workouts, former Cal running back, Marshawn Lynch, has returned. Lynch, whose allegiance to the team who picked RB C.J. Spiller in the first round of this year’s NFL draft has been questioned, attended a voluntary practice on Tuesday. “I like to play football, whether it’s here or whether it’s somewhere else,” Lynch said. “As long as I get to play football, I’m feeling great.” Prior to the draft, and especially after, many pundits and bloggers questioned whether Lynch would return to the Bills for the 2010 season, BLD included. [...]
