Bills fan can rest a little easier now, as the votes have been tallied, and the Buffalo Bills have two more ambassadors in the hallowed halls of Canton. Ralph Wilson and Bruce Smith have been elected into the Hall of Fame, while Andre Reed will have to try again next year.

Update on Jabari Greer

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Sources close to the situation have said that negotiations between the Buffalo Bills and Jabari Greer have picked up.  Lets hope this turns into promising news for Bills fans. If Greer does sign, it will give the Bills a solid punch at the cornerback position, as the Bills will have Corner, McKelvin, McGee, and Greer under contract.  McGee would make for great trade bait as he will be on the last year of his deal – and he looks to be the odd man out in that situation. The Bills could hold on to him through the end of his [...]

Bills in Toronto considered a success

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

In his annual state of the league address, NFL boss Roger Goodell called the Buffalo trip north of the border to be a success, given the fact that the goal is to regionalize the team, and that is exactly what happened. What makes me swallow hard about this was this statement by Goodell: I met with the people that are promoting the game, Rogers Communications, along with the Bills earlier this week, and I’m very confident that next year’s game is going to be bigger and better. I think they’ll evaluate every aspect of the game, including the pricing, and [...]

Ralph kept Jauron for continuity, maybe he’s learned something.

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Ralph Wilson used continuity as his primary reason for keeping Dick Jauron as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, despite three 7-9 seasons and no playoff appearances.  Maybe Ralph is learning.  Consider the number of coaches the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals have gone through since the 1970 merger of the NFL and AFL. A look through the histoy books in Pittsburgh will show you that the Pitsburgh Steelers have had three  coaches from 1970 until the present day team, Chuck Noll (1970-1991), Bill Cowher, (1991-2006), and Mike Tomlin (2007-present). A look at the other side line will show [...]

Super Bowl XLIII – One question remains.

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

Who will win Super Bowl XLIII is not the looming question, but more so how the team that wins does it.  Arizona’s offense has the ability to put up a lot of points on the board.  They have a more than lethal air attack with Kurt Warner and three 1,000 yard receivers, which they will need to combat the stifling run defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cardinals defense is suspect though.  If the Steelers can successfully take the pass game away from Kurt Warner – there offense should be able to pick apart the Cardinals defense. It is with [...]

Top Ten Bills of All Time?

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

In the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle this morning, there is a list of the top ten Buffalo Bills of all time.  No surprise that the list is filled out with great names such as Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Joe DeLamielleure, Billy Shaw, and Kent Hull. But who should lead that list?  The D & C listed O.J. Simpson as the top Buffalo Bill.  I understand leaving Simpson on the wall of fame, his accomplishments were amazing.  Here is the reason why the D& C listed him as number 1: Opponents knew he was coming and he still averaged 4.8 yards [...]

Lynch to Pro Bowl

AUTHOR: | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Bills can boast a second Pro-Bowler on the roster now, as Marshawn Lynch has been added to the AFC squad set to take on the NFC in Hawaii. Lynch was added after Chris Johnson who backed out due to a high ankle sprain suffered in this years playoffs. Lynch will be the first Buffalo Running Back in the Pro Bowl since Travis Henry went in 2002.
