"Everybody eats" mentality stays alive as Buffalo Bills dominate Jaguars on MNF

Right from the start, the Buffalo Bills had this game on cruise control.

For the second consecutive week, the Buffalo Bills have dominated a team from the state of Florida. Last week, the Bills traveled down to Miami and completely walked all over the Dolphins. This week, it was the same story as the Bills hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars in Orchard Park. Buffalo crushed Jacksonville from start to finish, winning 47-10.

The last two times these teams have met, the Jaguars were the ones that came out victorious. It was the complete opposite in tonight’s matchup. Home field advantage definitely played a role that helped the Bills secure a 3-0 record.

In the first half, the Bills had five possessions and each of them resulted in a Buffalo touchdown. Running back James Cook started it off for the Bills with a six-yard touchdown. Then it was the Josh Allen show, tallying four touchdowns to four different weapons. Allen looked like the star of the game on offense. He looked comfortable and relaxed, which helped him make fantastic plays and not force anything that could have led to a turnover.

To truly explain how dominant the Bills’ offense was in this game, they didn’t punt until the 4th quarter. If that doesn’t tell you something, who knows what will.

Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid and Ty Johnson all saw the endzone at some point in this game, emphasizing the “everybody eats” mentality. For the second week in this season, we have now seen the Bills find multiple ways to get into the endzone. Whether it is running the ball with Cook and Ray Davis, or getting multiple weapons involved in the passing game, this offense showed that they are no longer predictable.

Then there was the defense who made Trevor Lawrence look like a rookie quarterback. He looked lost and uncomfortable from the beginning. Before being pulled for Mac Jones in the 4th quarter, Lawrence managed to only put up 178 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. He was also sacked 4 times.

Buffalo’s run-defense came alive in this game, not allowing Travis Etienne to run wild like he did last year in London. They looked much better than they have the last two weeks. In addition, Damar Hamlin secured his first career interception on Lawrence.

This was a statement win for the Buffalo Bills

The Bills are now 3-0 and are coming from their second dominant-fashion win. Buffalo’s doubters may not be doubting them anymore through these three weeks. Now the Bills will start a three-game road stretch where they will be the visitors for the next three weeks. The first of their three away games will kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday night.
