The pressure was on the Buffalo Bills offense entering Week 10 and there was plenty to prove for Josh Allen and this group. They had to show they could protect the ball, that they could sustain drives and try to help a defense that has been decimated by injuries.

Unfortunately, they were not able to do that and the Bills have now fallen to 5-5 on the season after a disastrous 24-22 defeat to the Denver Broncos.

These are the grades for the Buffalo Bills offense in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos

Quarterback

It was more of the same from Josh Allen as he once again struggled to protect the football with two interceptions in the first half. The first interception is tough to blame on Allen as it went right through the hands of Gabe Davis on a throw that should have been caught.

However, the second interception was an awful decision by Allen on a deep out route that was thrown late. It set the Broncos up for another field goal in the closing seconds of the first half and these three points loom large with the final score being what it was.

Then in the second half, the Bills' quarterback had another turnover on what is seemingly a simple play as he dropped the ball on a handoff to James Cook. He did finish the game with a rushing touchdown that was able to give the Bills the lead late.

Josh Allen is the leader of this team and has to make the players around him better. However, this also means not putting the defense in bad positions with these awful throws. He has to protect the ball better.

Week 10 Grade: D

Running Back

It was an awful start to the game for James Cook and the running back position as the second-year back would fumble on the very first play of the game. The Bills would bench him for a few drives but once he returned, he looked great with 21 rushing yards and 11 receiving yards in the first half.

Meanwhile, Latavius Murray also ran very well with 54 rushing yards in the first half. This begs the question of why the Bills were not running the ball more as they had only nine rushing attempts in the first half with an average of 7.1 yards per attempt.

It wasn't until the second half, and really the fourth quarter, that the Bills leaned on the run game. James Cook would finish with 109 rushing yards while Murray had 68. The Bills as a team would average 7.4 yards per carry and the duo of Cook and Murray should have been a bigger part for the entire game.

Week 10 Grade: B-

Wide Receivers

Josh Allen wasn't great against the Denver Broncos but he also didn't get much help from the wide receiver group in the first half. Stefon Diggs led the way with two receptions for 23 yards but it appeared the Broncos focused exclusively on limiting his impact.

This should have opened the field for the other wide receivers but they weren't involved much. Gabe Davis had only one reception for 18 yards on four targets but had two big drops, one of which led to a turnover. These were the only two wide receivers who had a reception for the Bills and they will not be successful if they can't get more people involved.

In the second half, Davis and Khalil Shakir were able to make some bigger plays to help the offense with receptions of 37 and 24 respectively. However, it is not enough to save the grade for this week.

Week 10 Grade: F

Tight Ends

Dalton Kincaid was once again a bright spot for the Buffalo bills as he had five receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. He seemed to be the only reliable pass catcher for the Buffalo Bills offense and Josh Allen. However, he had only one reception for six yards in the second half and was not a factor in the game plan.

Week 10 Grade: B-

Offensive Line

The Buffalo Bills offensive struggles can't be blamed on the offensive line as they won the battle in the trenches against this Broncos defense. The Bills running backs were able to find huge running lanes on the ground and Josh Allen had plenty of time in the pocket as he was not sacked once in this game.

It wasn't perfect as O'Cyrus Torrence was called for a holding penalty in the first half and Spencer Brown had a false start. However, as a whole the offensive line did a great job in this game against the Denver Broncos.
