The wide receiver position is one position that seems almost certain to look different after the 2023 NFL Draft for the Buffalo Bills. The team can go a number of different directions with the position, which could include trading Gabe Davis or keeping him and letting him play on the final year of his contract.

If the Bills elect to keep Davis, then they could look to draft his replacement this year. While I believe Jalin Hyatt would be a great fit for the Bills’ offense, with or without Davis, Hyatt’s former teammate Cedric Tillman could be another player the Buffalo Bills consider.

If the Buffalo Bills were to draft Tillman, he would likely be a clear replacement for Gabe Davis after the upcoming season. He is a similar wide receiver to Gabe Davis in terms of size (6’3″ and 213 pounds) and how he plays. Tillman doesn’t have tremendous speed but does a good job playing the ball down the field and along the sidelines.

Cedric Tillman is a player who certainly could contribute right away as a rookie but with Gabe Davis still on the roster, the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t have to rush him out there this season.
