While Bobby Wagner is the best linebacker available, the Buffalo Bills seemed inclined to move forward with a competition at middle linebacker to replace Tremaine Edmunds based on comments made by Brandon Beane this week.

If that is the case, the Bills may not go after a player like Wagner but rather a linebacker like Anthony Walker Jr. could be a better fit for the direction the team wants to take. He is an experienced linebacker with 63 career starts between his time with the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns over six seasons.

This past season he unfortunately only played three games due to an injury but he has made a positive impact on the Browns locker room to the point that current players are taking to Twitter in hopes the Browns can bring him back.

The addition of Anthony Walker Jr. would give the Buffalo Bills a good locker room presence and at best a starting middle linebacker and at worst a quality backup.
