Buffalo Bills: 5 free agents to alleviate Von Miller’s absence
By Ryan Heckman
Veteran free agents the Buffalo Bills can sign to fill Von Miller’s void: Frank Clark
It may not seem like it, but veteran Frank Clark is only set to turn 30 years old this summer, and could have a good amount left in the tank. The Super Bowl-winning edge rusher could go from one AFC powerhouse to another if he chose to sign in Buffalo, but returning the Kansas City is obviously appealing.
Last season with the Chiefs, Clark notched 5.0 sacks and 13 quarterback hits in 15 games. He probably wouldn’t cost a ton, but he is still an effective pass rusher as part of an overall good defensive unit, which the Bills do have going into 2023.
After coming to Kansas City from Seattle, Clark made three straight Pro Bowls with the Chiefs. Going to a powerhouse type team did him some good, and hopefully the Bills could be a similar type of situation. Buffalo is a team looking at a Super Bowl run, and Clark would be a difference-maker for sure.
