In Round 7, it can be all about dart throws. Or, it can be about finding guys at a position that are easier to plug and play than others. Running back certainly qualifies as one of those positions, and the Bills get a guy who could very well replace Devin Singletary, an impending free agent.

Louisville running back Tiyon Evans is a between-the-tackles runner that could handle early down or goal line type work while James Cook is used in a different manner, as the team’s change-of-pace back and pass-catching specialist. At 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds, Evans is a physical, bruising back who would do well in a timeshare.

Ryan Greenhagen. 7. 16. Scouting Report. Fordham. player. Pick Analysis. LB

With their last pick in the draft, the Bills go after linebacker depth with Fordham’s Ryan Greenhagen. To begin his career, Greenhagen would likely do his damage on special teams before earning additional playing time. But, he’s a hard-working, sure tackler coming out of a small school and likely has a chip on his shoulder.

Greenhagen did exactly what you need to do at a smaller school in order to get drafted. He set school records in total tackles (415), solo tackles (241) and career tackles for loss (48.0). He made his imprint on the history books, thus getting a real shot to turn pro.
