Bold predictions for Bills at Bengals: Josh Allen becomes just 2nd quarterback to throw for 300 yards on Cincinnati

The Bengals pass defense has been mediocre at best, this season, allowing the 12th-most passing yards on the season. But, they haven’t completely broken all that much. In fact, Cincinnati’s defense has only allowed one 300-yard passer all season long, and it came just a couple of weeks ago.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers obviously surrendered an embarrassing comeback to these Bengals, but the legendary gunslinger posted a line of 304 yards, three touchdowns and two picks. It was the most passing yards any quarterback had thrown for on the Bengals all season long.

Almost a month ago, Cincy held Patrick Mahomes to a modest 211 passing yards — and that’s the one guy gunning for MVP over the rest of them right now. Earlier in the season, the Bengals held opposing quarterbacks under 200 yards passing in four of five games. They have had their moments.

But, not in this one. Josh Allen is going to light it up on Monday night. He may throw a couple of picks, but Allen is also going to go over 300 yards against the Bengals, and I’ll even predict three passing touchdowns to go with a rushing score. Allen re-establishes himself as an elite MVP candidate in this game.
