Defensive Line

This was an excellent performance for the entire defensive line in a game that the Buffalo Bills defense was going to need a big game from this group. Last year in the playoffs, the Bills were able to get pressure on Patrick Mahomes but failed to finish the play and collect the sack.

That wasn’t the case this year as the Buffalo Bills recorded three sacks, with Von Miller registering two of those. The other player who recorded a sack was former first round pick Shaq Lawson. This group was able to consistently bring pressure on Mahomes and force him off his mark, like on the interception at the end of the game.

In addition to that, the Buffalo Bills controlled the line of scrimmage and didn’t let the Chiefs run game do much of anything. They finished the game with only 68 rushing yards and an average of 3.8 yards per rushing attempt.
