Bold Prediction #3: Buffalo Bills find traction in the run game

It’s no secret that the Bills have not been able to establish a consistent running game. In many games, most of Buffalo’s rushing yards are compiled by Josh Allen.

This week presents some opportunities for the Bills to find their stride on the ground. The Chiefs have given up over four yards per carry to opponents in the run game, while the Bills have found a way to run for more than five yards per tote.

Just last week, Raiders running back, Josh Jacobs ran for 157 yards on 21 carries against the Chiefs. He was a load to bring down, averaging more than seven yards per carry, thanks to his punishing running style.

Running the ball against the Chiefs may not win the Bills the game, but establishing such a dynamic would arm the Bills with the element of surprise, diversifying its offensive attack. This week is as good a time as any for Buffalo to find its footing out of the backfield.
