The Buffalo Bills have been dealing with more than their fair share of injuries at wide receiver as they have had Jamison Crowder, Isaiah McKenzie, Gabe Davis and Jake Kumerow all miss at least one game already this season.

Fortunately, the only injury that appears to be long-term is the one for Jamison Crowder, who suffered a broken ankle. However, adding a veteran to the position could make sense and Robbie Anderson would be a good fit.

Robbie Anderson has shown to be a good deep threat in both New York with the Jets and the past few seasons with the Carolina Panthers. This season, Anderson is averaging over 15 receiving yards per reception, which is impressive when considering his quarterback.

The biggest challenge for Buffalo will be Anderson’s contract as he has one more year on his contract past this season with a cap hit of over $21 million. The Bills could release him after the season but that would still result in over $9 million in dead cap.

This is a move that would make sense but the price tag might be too much for a player who likely would just be a backup in this offense.
