Defensive Line

One of the strengths of Tua Tagovailoa’s game is that he gets the ball out quickly and this limits the impact the opposing pass rush can have. However, this didn’t seem to stop Greg Rousseau who continues to have an incredible start to the season.

Last year’s first round pick had 1.5 sacks and has now had at least one sack in each of the first three games of the season.

The defensive line for most of the game seemed to do a good job controlling this part of the field and didn’t let the Dolphins do much on the ground. Miami would finish the game with only 41 rushing yards on 17 carries for an average of 2.4 yards per carry. There was no run by the Dolphins the entire game that went for more than 10 yards.

This group also disrupted the passing game past just rushing Tagovailoa as Von Miller and Boogie Basham each had a pass defended in this game. The Bills will hopefully be getting Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips back soon and will only help what is already a strength of this team.
