Week 2 grades for the Buffalo Bills against the Tennessee Titans
Wide Receiver/Tight End
This week the Buffalo Bills were without Gabe Davis but didn’t seem to matter as Stefon Diggs took over and looked almost uncoverable. He finished the game with 12 receptions, 148 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns.
The Buffalo Bills didn’t have any other players with over 50 receiving yards with Jake Kumerow, who replaced Davis in the starting lineup, exactly at 50 yards on two receptions.
While there weren’t any other wide receivers who had big stat lines, it was also because Josh Allen didn’t necessarily have to go anywhere consistently other than Diggs. The Tennessee Titans didn’t have an answer for Diggs with inexperienced cornerbacks and it was a clear mismatch almost every snap.
Week 2 Grade: A
Offensive Line
The offensive line as a whole did a good job against a Titans’ defensive line with some good players on it like Jeffrey Simmons and Bud Dupree. Josh Allen for most of the game had plenty of time in the pocket and was sacked only one.
However, if there was an area for improvement it is on the ground. This has been an issue dating back to last year and the offensive line wasn’t able to consistently create running lanes for Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.
