Running Back

It seemed like this week was going to be a big game for the running backs with Devin Singletary breaking off a 16-yard run on the second play of the game. However, Singletary wouldn’t find much success after that point with only three rushing yards on five carries.

Zack Moss also had a big run in this game, one that went for 17 yards, but then had two more carries that went for zero total yards. The hope was Moss could be that short-yardage running back but against the Titans, the Buffalo Bills couldn’t get much push and Moss wasn’t able to pick up those first downs.

The player that led the Buffalo Bills on the ground was James Cook, who saw some extended playing time late in the game once the game was already decided. He finished the game with 11 rushing attempts for 53 yards, including an impressive 33-yard run.

The hope would be that this performance can create some momentum for the rookie and potentially carve out a bigger role in this offense moving forward.
