The Buffalo Bills have been without their star safety Jordan Poyer for a little over a month now after he suffered an elbow injury during training camp. He has been working his way back and on Monday, was a full participant in practice.

This is great news for the secondary, with the inexperience on the outside at cornerback, and the Bills’ defense as a whole. Jordan Poyer does a little bit of everything for this defense and the combination of him and Micah Hyde gives Buffalo one of the best safety duos in the league.

I would imagine that the Buffalo Bills this week play Poyer a little closer to the line of scrimmage to help slow down the Rams’ running backs like Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson, who is an excellent receiver out of the backfield.

This should open up Micah Hyde to be more of that deep safety and defend against any deep passes that Stafford may try to throw to beat the defense over the top.
