Spencer Brown listed as the starting right tackle

For almost the entire training camp, and also the second preseason game against the Denver Broncos, it has been David Quessenberry as the starting right tackle. The former Tennessee Titans tackle has done a good job replacing Spencer Brown but it doesn’t appear to have changed the coaching staff plan at the position.

The Bills are going to go with second-year offensive tackle Spencer Brown as the starter. The team has been cautious with Brown this offseason after a back procedure earlier in the year. He has slowly been getting worked back in and saw snaps in the final two preseason games.

The question now is how the right side of the line does playing alongside each other. The combination of Ryan Bates and Spencer Brown didn’t have many games together last year with Bates becoming the starter late. After an offseason with minimal reps together, this could be a potential area for concern.
