Game of the Week: #11 Oregon @ #3 Georgia (Saturday 9/3, 3:30 PM ABC)

Oregon Prospects: TE/DE/LB DJ Johnson, LB Noah Sewell, LB Justin Flowe, RB Travis Dye

Georgia Prospects: TE Arik Gilbert, TE Darnell Washington, T Broderick Jones, DT Jalen Carter, Edge Nolan Smith, CB Kelee Ringo, S Tykee Smith, S Christopher Smith

Both loaded with prospects, this game will offer you the possible tight-end prospects you could watch in one game. You have Arik Gilbert, a well-rounded player who can make some big-time receptions for Georgia. Alongside him is Darnell Washington, who could be described oppositely as a well-rounded player who will make some big-time blocks.

And for Oregon, listed at three positions, one of which being tight end, there is DJ Johnson. Johnson is a crazy athlete who plays all three phases of the game. He is likely not on NFL radars for one specific spot, but his versatility is intriguing, especially at tight ends.

Defensively there is a ton to love in this game. Georgia returned almost half starters from one of college football’s leading defenses. And Oregon has former top pick Penei Sewell’s brother vying to be the first off-ball linebacker off the board come spring.

This game will have talent all over the field, but with high stakes in both teams’ first game of the year, I am intrigued to see who will be the player to step up and make a name for himself to kick off the year. This is especially true for Oregon, who may not get the opportunity to play top-tier competition like Georgia will in the SEC consistently.

What To Watch For: It may not be primetime, but the whole world will be watching, so I want to see who will step up when the spotlight is on.
