Jamison Crowder

The final player is probably the one that could bring back the best return and would likely have the most interest. The Buffalo Bills signed Jamison Crowder this offseason to a one-year deal worth $2 million, which is a bargain for a player with Crowder’s experience.

During his time with Washington and the New York Jets, he has shown to be a reliable pass catcher out of the slot and teams like the Dallas Cowboys or Green Bay Packers could have a need for a player like Crowder.

For the Buffalo Bills, unlike the other players on this list, Crowder is someone that has a strong likelihood of making the 53-man roster. He is an experienced wide receiver and could provide good depth at the position.

The reason they would probably entertain the idea is due to the play of Isaiah McKenzie, who has stepped in as the starting slot receiver and done an excellent job in training camp. They have also seen other wide receivers step up during training camp and look ready to contribute like rookie Khalil Shakir, Isaiah Hodgins, and also have Tavon Austin, who looks to be in line as the starting punt returner based on the first depth chart.

In the end, the Buffalo Bills may want to go with youth or players who can contribute in other ways, for those final spots on the depth chart at wide receiver. A player like Jamison Crowder would almost certainly bring back a late round pick and frees up a roster spot for the Bills to keep someone like Isaiah Hodgins on the 53-man roster.
