How does the offensive line play in the preseason games?

The Buffalo Bills have had plenty of injuries during training camp along the offensive line. This has forced offensive line coach Aaron Kromer and the rest of the offensive staff to consistently shuffle players around.

This shuffling hasn’t allowed players to get familiar with the player they have lined up next to them. It could have a ripple effect down from the starters to the second and third teams.

The Bills have started to get healthy recently with Rodger Saffold coming off NFI and Spencer Brown getting some work in team activities. However, similar to Poyer the team needs to be cautious with how quickly they bring them back and the ultimate goal is Week 1 of the regular season.

It would not be surprising to see the offensive line struggle during the preseason and this could be another reason to keep Josh Allen out. If the protection is not going to be there then it doesn’t make sense to put the franchise quarterback, and the most important player on the team, in a position to take unnecessary hits.
