Zack Moss is listed ahead of James Cook

The running back position has Devin Singletary as the starter, which was expected, but after him is surprising with Zack Moss as number two, James Cook third, and Duke Johnson fourth.

Entering training camp, Zack Moss was considered to be on the roster bubble after taking a step backward last season. However, he has looked great in training camp and could be in line for a bounce-back year.

I believe both Moss and Cook are going to be big parts of this offense and don’t necessarily think this is bad news for Cook. What it does tell me is that the Buffalo Bills likely are going to have three running backs active on gameday, something they didn’t do much last year, and Moss probably factors in for goal line carries and short-yardage situations.

In addition, it looks like Duke Johnson is on the roster bubble and likely will be cut or traded before the start of the season.
