Stock Down: Jamison Crowder

It is tough to give a player a stock down due to injury but Sean McDermott was asked if it is tough for a player to miss as much time as Crowder has to start training camp. The Buffalo Bills head coach said:

"“I’m always concerned any time a guy misses, it’s missed reps and in this case you know availability or unavailability creates a challenge in terms of for a new player developing a rapport in this case with Josh [Allen]. Mentally he’s very strong so I’m not as concerned about that piece in terms of assignment but it’s just more of the rapport.”"

The free agent signing of Jamison Crowder looked to be a great bargain for the Buffalo Bills when they signed him as a free agent as they found a player with plenty of experience in this role and could step in to replace Cole Beasley.

However, as mentioned previously this seems to be Isaiah McKenzie’s job to lose and this is due in part to Crowder not being available. While the injury doesn’t appear to be serious, it will be important for him to get onto the field to figure out where he might fit into this offense and as McDermott said building that rapport with Josh Allen.
