Buffalo Bills 2022 leader in tackles: Tremaine Edmunds

Tremaine Edmunds is an absolute tackling machine. Sure, Pro Football Focus may not be such a huge fan of him, but there’s no denying that Edmunds is always all over the field. Since arriving in Buffalo, the linebacker has never tallied below a hundred tackles in a season.

Edmunds is only one of two starting linebackers on the Bills’ defense, with the other linebacker being Matt Milano. He’s still very much on the young side, being only 24 years of age. But taking his youth into account – as well as his athleticism – there has been plenty of chatter about Edmunds still having plenty of room to grow. Many will say that he has yet to put it all together, and there’s a good argument to be had on that front.

However, with a bolstered defensive line including the likes of DaQuan Jones, Jordan Phillips, and Tim Settle, an improved defensive front will make things much easier for Edmunds, especially in the run game. With these improvements made, this may be the year when Edmunds truly puts it all together.

Even if he still has yet to reach his full potential, he is still very productive when it comes to getting tackles – and this season likely won’t be any different.
