Buffalo Bills player No. 2: Stefon Diggs, WR

Stefon Diggs is another one of those players that is a bit obvious.

With a 2021 season that Diggs fantasy owners weren’t thrilled with, his ADP makes for a risky pick, however.

FantasyPros has his ADP around pick No. 13 while ranking him the fourth-best fantasy WR behind Cooper Kupp, Ja’Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson. According to FantasyPros’ rankings, Deebo Samuel and Davante Adams are two receivers ranking below Stefon Diggs that are arguably better, at least in terms of fantasy.

However, now that Diggs got a payday, there could be less on his mind outside the confines of the football field.

Outside factors like that are something fans don’t know much about, however, it’s unlikely that contract negotiations happening during the season are helpful to a player’s production.

In Diggs’ two seasons with the Buffalo Bills, he’s ranked as the third-best fantasy receiver and the eighth-best receiver– or seventh if it’s a point per reception (PPR) league.

So, those that draft Diggs this year will be hoping for more of a 2020-season than a 2021-season. However, all things considered, drafting a receiver with Josh Allen as their quarterback doesn’t ever seem like a bad idea.

The only hesitancy fantasy GMs should have is his ADP being a bit high. Other than that, Diggs is a great receiver to snatch in re-draft leagues. That’s not as much the case in dynasty leagues, given Diggs’ age.
