. . Buffalo Bills. 2. team. 16.

Tight Ends: Dawson Knox, O.J. Howard, Tommy Sweeney

The performance by Dawson Knox last season is a big reason that the Buffalo Bills are ranked where they are. He had an excellent season with 49 receptions, 587 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns while missing two games due to a broken hand suffered against the Tennessee Titans.

In addition to Knox, the Buffalo Bills have Tommy Sweeney back who has primarily been that second tight end and more of a run-blocking tight end.

The big addition to this position was the free agent signing of O.J. Howard, who is a former first round pick by the Tampa Bay Bucs. After a promising rookie and second season in the NFL, Howard has struggled to make the same impact and moved down the depth chart with the addition of Rob Gronkowski.

For the Bills though, he is a good second tight end that now gives them the flexibility to run more two-tight ends sets this upcoming season.
