Wide Receivers: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson, Trent Sherfield, Preston Williams

While the difference between the New England Patriots and New York Jets is small, there is a large gap with the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills having the clear Top 2 wide receiver groups.

The reason the Dolphins have been able to close the gap is the addition of Tyreek Hill, who became one of the top wide receivers during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs. He is one of the fastest wide receivers in the league and is now paired with Jaylen Waddle, who also could be in the discussion for fastest wide receiver in the NFL.

Hill wasn’t the only wide receiver the Dolphins added this offseason as they also signed Cedrick Wilson, who played well for the Dallas Cowboys last year in place of the injured Michael Gallup.

The difference, and why the Dolphins are ranked second, is the depth after these three has to be a concern for Miami. They added Trent Sherfield, who was on the 49ers with Mike McDaniels last season and is joined by Preston Williams, who has been with the Dolphins for a few seasons but has dealt with injuries.

If Miami loses one of their starting wide receivers they don’t have a great option on the roster to replace them and why they are ranked second.
