Rodger Saffold

Prior Team: Tennessee Titans

Another free agent the Buffalo Bills signed this offseason will get a chance to play his former team in offensive guard Rodger Saffold. While Saffold will have to wait a little longer than Von Miller to play his former team, it isn’t by much as the Buffalo Bills play the Tennessee Titans in Week 2 on Monday Night Football.

Saffold earned his first career Pro Bowl nomination last season with the Titans but it wasn’t enough for Tennessee as they would release him after the season in a move to create cap space.

The Buffalo Bills didn’t waste much time and signed Saffold in hopes that he could improve the blocking on the interior of their offensive line. In particular, Saffold has shown to be a good run blocking guard and he can help create more running lanes for Devin Singletary and this run game.
