Week 12: Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions

For the third time in four years, the Buffalo Bills are traveling on Thanksgiving and this time they are heading to Detroit to face the Lions in the first game on the holiday. The last two times the Bills have been victorious on Thanksgiving with wins over the Dallas Cowboys and then last year beating the New Orleans Saints in prime time.

The Lions are a rebuilding team but Buffalo can’t necessarily take them lightly as they have some good players on the offensive side of the ball with D’Andre Swift, T.J. Hockensen, Amon-Ra St. Brown. They also drafted Jameson Williams in the first round who is recovering from an ACL injury but at this point of the season should be on the field.

While the Bills can’t take the Lions lightly, if Detroit were to win here it would be considered a major upset and this is probably the team’s most winnable game on their entire schedule.
