Buffalo Bills Roster Need: Cornerback
The one position that seemed like a major need entering the offseason that they have not brought in any players yet is at cornerback. Last year, the position became a concern after Tre’Davious White was lost for the year due to a torn ACL.
He is working his way back from that injury but Sean McDermott recently said they don’t have a timeline but “you’ve got to be realistic.” This doesn’t necessarily sound like a player who will be ready to start the season, and combined with Levi Wallace leaving for the Pittsburgh Steelers, this is a position of concern.
The Bills did try during free agency, most notably were interested in Stephon Gilmore, but weren’t able to get any moves done. While I don’t expect Brandon Beane to reach for any player, I would be surprised if the team doesn’t have at least one new cornerback after the first three rounds.
