Sean McDermott remained aggressive with his play-calling
One of the biggest changes during the Bills win streak has been the aggressiveness of Sean McDermott. Last week against the Patriots, the Bills had four fourth-down attempts and this week, the Bills continued that trend.
On the Bills’ first offensive drive, the offense faced a fourth down inside the five-yard line. However, McDermott didn’t seem to hesitate and went for it with Josh Allen finding the end zone on a rushing attempt.
Then in the fourth quarter with the Bills only up 22-15, McDermott decided to go for it on fourth down at the 20-yard line. This was an interesting call since a field goal would have made it a two-score game but Allen once again was able to convert. The drive would continue and end with Devin Singletary’s second touchdown of the game.
The aggressiveness by Sean McDermott has continued to pay off and it is hard to imagine this is something that will go away for the rest of the year with how successful they have been.
