3. Buffalo Bills re-sign Matt Milano

Entering the 2021 offseason, the Buffalo Bills had three key players set to be free agents with linebacker Matt Milano joining offensive linemen Jon Feliciano and Daryl Williams. The fact the Bills had limited cap space made it seem like the best-case scenario was the Bills would be able to bring back one or two of those three.

General manager Brandon Beane deserves a great deal of credit for being able to bring back all three players but the move to re-sign Matt Milano was by far the best. The fifth-year linebacker became the full-time starter in 2018 and has developed into one of the better pass coverage linebackers in the NFL.

This season though Milano certainly has gone beyond that and has 78 total tackles, four passes defended, two sacks, and a career-high 14 tackles for a loss. He has been a big reason that the Bills have one of the best defenses in the NFL this year and this was one of the better moves made by Buffalo last year.
