5 Buffalo Bills to watch in Week 10 against the New York Jets
Micah Hyde
The final player to watch this weekend against the New York Jets is starting safety Micah Hyde. Hyde is off to a great start to the year, particularly in forcing turnovers with three interceptions and one fumble recovery through the first eight games.
One of the differences between Zach Wilson and Mike White is that White did a better job pushing the ball down the field. In six games, Wilson had an average yards per attempt of 6.5 yards while White had an average yards per attempt of 9.0 yards this season.
While both safeties on the Buffalo Bills are important to their success, Hyde is the one that typically is playing deep and protecting against those longer throws. This is why he is probably the more important of the two safeties this week.
If the Buffalo Bills pass rush can force White to throw quicker, it could result in a few opportunities for Hyde to add to that interception total.
