Derrick Henry does not surpass 100 rushing yards in Week 6

Typically, it isn’t a bold prediction to say a defense will hold the opposing running back to under 100 rushing yards. However, Derrick Henry is not your typical running back and he is leading the league in rushing for that very reason.

In fact, over the past 13 regular seasons Henry has not surpassed 100 rushing yards only three times. He currently has a four game streak surpassing the 100-yard mark and is averaging 145.5 yards per game during that time.

One of the reasons Henry is able to do this is the volume of work that he gets as he averaged 25 carries per game over the last four games. This week though, the Titans may not be able to lean on their running back with how effective the Bills offense has been.

If the Bills offense can get out to a big lead, they may need to shift their game plan and throw more than they would like. This will also help keep Henry’s rushing yards down and another reason I believe he doesn’t break 100 rushing yards this week.
