NFL.com: Bills jump Cardinals for top spot

Current Week’s Ranking: 1

Last Week’s Ranking: 3

While the Buffalo Bills didn’t move past the Cardinals in the CBS Sports’ power rankings, on NFL.com Dan Hanzus moved the Bills from third to first while the Cardinals remained at the second spot.

"Defeating the Chiefs in October and defeating them in January are two very different beasts, but that doesn’t mean Sunday night’s 38-20 stomping of the defending conference champs wasn’t important. For the Bills, it was affirmation of what they already believed: With superstar quarterback Josh Allen out front, they can beat anyone. They might even embarrass you."

Hanzus notes on one of the bigger storylines that came out of Sunday night and that is Josh Allen’s performance in a big game. While the Bills quarterback had a breakout year last season, there was plenty who still questioned whether it was a one-year thing or he might regress.

On Sunday night, he showed he could still lead this offense and play at a high level in a big game. While those still questioning Allen won’t quickly change course, the arguments against the Bills quarterback are quickly being erased.
