Buffalo Bills: 7 Quick thoughts on their 38-20 win over the Chiefs
Buffalo Bills defense continue to force turnovers- One of the big storylines for this Bills defense has been their ability to force turnovers. Entering Week 5, they ranked second in the league with 11 and added four more on Sunday night.
The first was a forced fumble by Siran Neal early in the first half on a kickoff by the Chiefs. Then in the second half a pick six by Micah Hyde helped build a 18-point lead and then on the very next drive the Chiefs were driving and in the red zone.
However, Greg Rousseau came up with one of the best plays of the season when he tipped the ball up in the air and was able to track it down and intercept it. The third takeaway was a fumble recovered by Tre’Davious White.
Buffalo Bills stake their claim for best in the AFC- The Buffalo Bills have steadily improved year over year after earning a Wild Card spot in 2019, the division title last year but if they wanted to reach the Super Bowl, they had to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
They did that with a definitive win over one of the best teams in the league. They beat them in every facet of the game, and did it on the road. While it is only one win, this is a defining win that will keep the momentum rolling into another primetime game next week against the Tennessee Titans.
