One of the reasons the Buffalo Bills were probably called for as many holding calls as they were was due to the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers front seven were easily winning the battle in the trenches.

What was more concerning was how easily they were able to generate pressure without bringing extra players and beating the offensive line with three or four players.

After the game, Sean McDermott noted this and they have to improve in this area.

Entering Week 2, the Miami Dolphins are not going to be confused for the Pittsburgh Steelers who have some of the best in the league with T.J. Watt and Melvin Ingram III. However, they are coming off a game where they got one sack and nine QB hits so they can’t be taken lightly.

It wouldn’t be surprising if this week, the Bills are forced to include more tight ends inline to block or a running back in the backfield to help pick up a rusher. The downside is that it is one less player Josh Allen has running a route to get the ball to.
