WR4: Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders was brought in to replace John Brown in the Buffalo Bills receiving core. Sanders is coming off of a season in which he caught 61 passes for 726 yards and five scores for the Saints.

Considering that the Saints had to play several games with Taysom Hill starting at quarterback, those are solid numbers for Sanders.

It would be shocking however if Sanders had the same kind of production in Buffalo. He turned 34 years old in March and will be entering his 12th year in the league.

He will definitely be in the mix for the number two position on the depth chart, but he will have a hard time surpassing the promising Gabriel Davis.

It is hard to see Sanders surpassing, or fending off Davis if the second year receiver continues on his upward trajectory. The two wideouts are on opposite trajectories, and that does not bode well for Sanders’ hopes of being the number two receiver.

Sanders will certainly be involved in some capacity with the Bills offense when the regular season starts, but he will have to work his way past Gabriel Davis to see the snaps needed to match his numbers from a season ago.
