Five Buffalo Bills players that could be in final season
WR Jake Kumerow
It’s been quite a ride for the former Division-III wide receiver from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Jake Kumerow could definitely be in his last season with the Buffalo Bills. Kumerow only saw action in six games last year, but his only catch of the entire season was a 22 yard TD against the Denver Broncos.
In a wide receiver room that’s filled with talent, it’s going to be hard for Kumerow to get playing time. Given the arrival of Emmanuel Sanders and Gabriel Davis’ strong rookie season, it’s an uphill battle. Let’s not forget that when Kumerow was with the Green Bay Packers, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said that Kumerow was a lock to make the roster.
Obviously, that didn’t happen as he was a surprise cut the very next day. Just being able to have such high praise from a well-respected player as Rodgers says a lot. This year’s training camp battles will most likely determine if Kumerow lasts any longer with the Bills.
